New Year Resolutions Around the World Brace for Impact in Preparation to be Thrown out the Window

Fireworks and gunshots could be heard around the world earlier this week as the entire world rang in the New Year. Exactly nine months from yesterday, we can expect to see a spike in births worldwide. Still, babies aren't the only things born from the renewal of the social construct. New Year resolutions across the country are born already preparing for their death.
"He still has the damn bacon in his fridge, so it's really only a matter of time. All I can do is pray," said one new resolution.

I'm Following the Lead of the Setting Sun

The last time I was able to go visit my home, St. Croix, USVI, was during the summer of 2014. It was right after my freshman year and I decided to go home to take psychology at our university there since it was inexpensive and I wanted to get it out of the way. Since then, I haven’t returned. I had never felt the need to go back home. So long as I could speak to my family on the phone, I was fine. That feeling has changed, though. Somewhat. Man Still Can't Remember Where He Knows Actor From

The Golden Globes aired live recently, drawing all the biggest names in Hollywood under one roof. Millions watched at home as TV and film stars were celebrated for their artistry. Gerrie Holden was wiping his tears after watching Oprah deliver her moving inaugural address  award acceptance speech, when he noticed the camera pan over the audience to get the crowd's reaction. Holden spotted a familiar face in the audience, but much to his dismay, he could not remember what movie he saw her in. "Oh gosh. Where the hell do I know her from?" he asked himself as he continuously snapped his fingers in a pensive manner. Gerrie did try to search her description on Google, but he said that "white brunette actress" returned too many results to be helpful.
